My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapeutic treatment is to engage clients with care, compassion and understanding. I want clients to feel that I am on their side collaborating with them working towards the best possible outcome of the situation they are seeking to address. I utilize cognitive behavioral treatment or solution-focused therapy with a person-centered approach that emphasizes empathy and unconditional positive regard. I believe that every person desires to feel heard and understood. I want to be there for them in their time of need.
My spare time is generally spent with my husband, daughter, extended family and friends. I enjoy taking long walks on sunny days, strengthening my green thumb in my garden, and sneaking in a nap every now and then.
