My Approach to Helping
I adapt to the needs of my clients through open conversations about therapy goals and collaboration on an ideal treatment plan. In every case, I meet clients where they are and provide support throughout the healing process.
I earned a BSW from the University of Central Florida and an MSW from the University of Illinois-Chicago. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, borderline personality disorder, grief, anxiety, and more. Also, as a family therapist, I serve as a supportive and unbiased party who can help provide understanding for everyone involved.
In therapy, I use a client-centered approach and use tools such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, emotional regulation, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and more to serve clients. In every case, I strive to find solutions that work for individual client needs.
