My Approach to Helping
Does your work life frustrate you? Do you end up in the same relationships over and over again, leaving you feeling alone? Are you stressed? Some people seek therapy because they know what's wrong; others just have a feeling that something's not right. Difficult feelings, thoughts, and previous experiences can undermine our ability to be comfortable with who we are, what we want, and the relationships we have with others. I help you work through these obstacles.
My specialties include family conflict, dating and relationships, depression, stress management, anxiety, self-confidence, and career-related challenges. I also offer leadership coaching designed to build self-confidence and self-assertion. Everyone needs tools to manage life's challenges, and I offer the tools you need.
I am interactive and warm. I'll help you understand your relationships with others and yourself, but will also help you develop tools that can change your behavior. The strategies I offer are influenced by mindfulness-based and cognitive-behavioral stress reduction principles.
