You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or other forms of discomfort that make your life difficult. Often, my clients may have grown up in a dysfunctional family, had disconnected parents, or faced emotional/physical/sexual abuse, or chronic stress. My goal with clients is to help them be the best they can be. My approach is kind and nurturing yet focused and results-oriented. And, even in the midst of hard work, I try and find ways to help my clients smile and laugh.

Many of my clients are ready and able to address early childhood issues--something they may not have had the opportunity or ability to do when they were younger. My experience with children, families, and individuals gives me an in-depth perspective to help individual adults. My background includes years of hands-on experience with children, families, and individuals struggling with trauma and attachment issues. Let me help you move through that and become the best you can be!

More Info About My Practice

Therapy sessions include some combination of the following: EMDR, self-regulation practice, narrative therapy, biofeedback, therapeutic games, art activities, role-play, brain-body connection work, and more. We work together to create therapy sessions that are effective and growth-oriented.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

Before accepting new clients, I have an in-depth phone conversation to determine if we are a good fit. I want to make sure that my training and abilities matches your needs. This is the starting point for creating effective therapy sessions.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

As an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), my focus includes areas where you could use some help, as well as things that you're doing well. You may have previously been given diagnoses such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, or complex trauma. We can discuss those, but my goal is to help you address the issues, concerns, or behaviors that are limiting your life, rather than emphasizing a specific diagnosis.
