My Approach to Helping
Reaching out for support is no easy feat. It takes a level of awareness, willingness and courage to walk into the unknown. My aim is to create a private and supportive space where you can explore your concerns. I use an eclectic approach, so I\'ll draw on various tools and strategies from my toolkit to support you. Using these tools, we can build on the strengths you already have, to make the changes you wish to see, so that life becomes a little more manageable or fulfilling.
My practice is strengths-based, trauma-informed, person-centered, compassionate and anti-oppressive.
My philosophy is understanding the whole individual ─ cognition, psychesense of self, heart, soul ─ as well as their environment. It is important to me to honour all aspects of your experience.
