My Approach to Helping
Counseling Philosophy: My personal philosophy of counseling is to consider therapy a partnership between you and me. I will empower, encourage and support you in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I use a wholistic approach to therapy, which includes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Talk Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, and Holistic Therapy. My main goal is to help you find the path that will make your life what you want it to be. In learning about what brought you into therapy, we can work together to identify where you want your life to go. Then we will identify goals to help you get there, improve the quality of your life and your relationships with others. In therapy we focus not on the past, but on living in the present with a plan for the future.
About Me: In my free time I love to hang out with my family and friends, take daily walks while listening to a book on my phone, and hang out with my two cats while watching movies or documentaries. I love to relax by cooking, driving, and surfing the web.
