My Approach to Helping
Does anxiety and fear keep you from enjoying yourself and time with others? Do you shy away from people because you aren't confident in yourself and in what you have to offer? There is hope. We all have to find a way to be resilient in the face of life’s challenges and we all develop different strategies to accomplish this task but sometimes we need help in broadening those strategies. I can help by broadening your understanding of your unique situation and problems by providing an empathic and compassionate space to really look at why life has yet to fulfill you in the way you would like.
I focus on helping you gain insight into the sources of your emotional distress and personal struggles. I will help you enhance your coping strategies and further develop your inherent strengths. I listen intently to your story and work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that is tailored to helping you achieve the goals you have.
It means a lot to me working to help people find a way to overcome the issues they are having in life. Helping people create sustainable happiness and increased wellbeing is why I became a psychologist. I have helped others achieve this in life already and am hoping to have the opportunity to help you as well.
