Many people talk the talk but can you help people to walk the walk. Pregnant at 16, four children by 22, raised in Detroit; I was the poster child for an " Environmental Statistic" but through God's grace, hard work, support, and guidance I dreamed a new dream and started a new road. I had lived a life of a 40-year-old woman by the time I was 22. Life had given me a run for my money and I was just getting out of the gate then something happened. "I looked back at the road I was walking and I did not like it! I looked up the road I was currently walking on and I did not like it! So I decided to step off of that road and cut myself a new path." Maya Angelou.

My goal is to impact the lives of people by helping to design a new life using evidence-based practice counseling services.

I understand that people need the tools to succeed. Let me assist you in Re-tooling. LPC, Pastor, 20-year Psychiatric Registered Nurse, Author and Entrepreneur, happily married, retired Army Captain. I am honored to serve with authenticity, compassion, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can help you Re-tool your life! My goal is to expose opportunities for you to change, be challenged and encouraged to live as a better version of yourself every day. Retooling will help you to put down your old ways of coping with stress, life, situations, and circumstances and pick up a better set of tools for dealing with life situations

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Is to help you realize what you view yourself as successful in all areas of your life. My purpose is to give you resources that you will need to realize your dreams.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Being able to help someone to find their way. I was lost and I needed people to help me find my way. I could not have accomplished anything without the grace of God, the hand of others, and support of those who really cared.
I love teaching others stress management techniques. new thinking patterns, strategies for finishing what they start and so much more. I help people to understand the why behind the what and then we talk about the HOW to's for everyday circumstances! I LOVE helping others to begin to see themselves , their possibilities and opportunities for a whole new life that starts TODAY!
