In a nonjudgmental environment, therapy can help support you on your path toward change. My work involves individual therapy and couples therapy. My relationship counseling is anchored in the Gottman Method. I have completed Level 3 training in the Gottman Method. My hope is that you are able to use your therapy to feel more satisfied with your life, and enjoy more fulfilling relationships. Your strengths and hopes serve as our guides in individual therapy.

More Info About My Practice

Therapy can help you improve your emotional well-being, and help you find more joy. Couples therapy provides a place to learn skills that can help you modify tension and conflict in your relationship, deepen your friendship, and nurture intimacy. Sometimes restoring trust is the initial work in couples counseling. In addition to the Gottman Method, I also draw from and use other humanistic approaches.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy can help us live with more vitality. Therapy can equip us with skills to enjoy a more fulfilling life, and then increase our ability to create more satisfying relationships.

My Role as a Therapist

One role of a therapist is to help people find coping skills and tools that help decrease their anxiety and depression. As Virginia Satir said: "Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference." One of my roles as a couples therapist is to help you, or you and your partner enhance your communication skills and deepen intimacy. My hope is that you are able to implement these skills in meaningful ways that help keep your love alive.
