My Approach to Helping
When you enter the office, I want you to feel comfortable. I am here for you and your time is my time. You can work on specific target goals that you want to achieve or come in to process the everyday stress that occurs. I am here to assist you through your downs and provide excitement on your ups. Through cognitive behavioral approach, I work with each individual through their presenting concerns along with working on underlying issues, improving coping skills and understanding the origin of their concerns.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist to assist you in your journey. I am here to assist with problem-solving and working through your emotions and thoughts. I am also here to help connect you with resources outside of Willow Path to help your journey progress.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
It is important to choose a therapist that has a warm and inviting environment. One that you can feel comfortable with. It is important to have that as you want your sessions to feel like you are making progress and connecting with an individual. I always recommend giving it at least 3 sessions when you do pick someone before saying that you don't feel like it is working. Progress can be slow at times, but having the right person to see weekly or as needed is important.
