My Approach to Helping
I offer holistic, creative and embodied counseling and therapy within a framework of Jungian psychology, somatic psychology and creative arts therapy. I welcome individuals and couples whose difficulties might include life transitions, relationships, family matters, career issues, low self-esteem, or midlife doubts and questions. Also, I work with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, loss and grieving, with questions of meaning and spirituality. Having grown up in France and Germany, I also enjoy working with those whose mother tongue is German or French.
I see psychotherapy as an inner journey that draws on the natural healing forces within our being. In the safety, comfort, acceptance and warmth of the therapeutic relationship, this journey leads to a renewed sense of aliveness, trust, hope, zest and well-being, and a growing ability for intimacy and joyful, creative engagement with self, others and the earth.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
My passion about being a psychotherapist is the joy and the privilege of accompanying another in the vital and fulfilling movement of their healing, growing and unfolding towards the vision they hold for their own life.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
In choosing the counselor or therapist that's right for you, you want to ask yourself: Do I feel safe and comfortable with this person, accepted, listened to and understood? Do I sense her or him to be non-judgmental, warm, with good interpersonal skills, qualified and experienced? Can I entrust this person with my concerns?
Then listen to your own intuitive response.
