My Approach to Helping

I value your unique history, experiences, hopes, and goals that you have. In order to help you meet your goals, I prioritize creating an environment where you can feel safe and comfortable enough to explore your concerns. I view counseling as a collaborative process where we create a realistic and actionable plan to help you build the life you want to lead.
Together we can identify ways to make use of your strengths and identify possible patterns that might be getting in the way of your growth. Due to my training in multicultural, feminist, and LGB affirmative work, I make space for the ways in which gender norms, family or cultural expectations, and race-related experiences may be impacting your stress and everyday experiences.
