My Approach to Helping
Hello there! Congratulations for taking the first step to reaching deeper insight, understanding, and appreciation for yourself andor your relationship!
My clinical training has prepared me well to help individuals, couples, and families navigate their complex journeys toward understanding and resolution. My primary goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and a greater sense of fulfillment in your life through the therapeutic process.
I specialize in working with teenadult individuals and couples. I am adept at collaborating with clients from a variety of racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.
If you are seeking individual help, you are in the right place. I hope to help you gain insight, clarity, and understanding as you navigate the challenges that have presented over the course of your life.
If you are seeking help for your relationship, I am happy to share with you that my clinical and doctoral research areas center on couple relationship dynamics. I view the couple as the heart of the family unit and work to help you strengthen, rebuild, evaluate, and enhance your bond with your partner. Whether you are dating, married, engaged, or struggling to decide whether to remain in your relationship, I believe my clinical expertise will serve you well. My role is to be an empathetic, caring, warm presence who will help guide you through questions and challenges in your relationship and assist you in achieving your relational goals.
I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Middle Atlantic Division of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. My membership in these groups allows me to network with other mental health professionals and gather as much information about new research as possible. I promote the field of family and couple therapy, remain current on recent developments in the field, and advocate for my clients within my membership role.
