My Approach to Helping
Seeking support for what you are dealing with is a brave first step toward creating positive change in your life. We all have things that keep us from being our "best selves". Difficult thought patterns, unresolved problems, and struggling with change can get in the way of who we really want to be - for ourselves and for our relationships.
In therapy, I help people like you find clarity, make peace with old problems, create healthy boundaries, and learn tools that lead to living a more intentional, meaningful life. With couples, I help you rebuild your emotional connection through honest and effective communication, resolved conflict, and increased relationship satisfaction. I also offer non-denominational pre-marital counseling for couples embarking on their next big adventure together!
My approach is holistic - every part of you is welcomed in this space. I am a PACT Level 2 (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) and Gottman Level 2 practitioner. When it fits, I weave in contemplative practices (mindfulness) and CBT skills. I operate from a feminist, racial justice, and Health at Every Size® lens.
