Billing and Insurance

I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Your first session for in-office therapy is 30 minutes and is always free unless we have already communicated re: issues and your needs via phone, e-mail, etc. This is considered a "get acquainted" intro-assessment visit to determine if we are a good fit. If not, I will endeavor to give you three referrals that might suit your needs better.
1. In Office: $150.00 per 1 hour and 15-minute session for those who have concerns they want to address in depth without being rushed by the clock, persons struggling with addiction or for those who travel some distance. This is what most clients find most useful.
2. In Office: $110.00 for 50 minutes. Consider using this only if you prepare your thoughts and objective for the session well beforehand so you are getting the maximum help and improvement that you desire to meet your objectives
3. In Office: $200.00 for 2 hours for those clients with special circumstances or who drive a long distance, fly in, or families/friends needing intervention help and support, or for those who just want more time for themselves. This pricing is also a bargain for couples who need joint time but also need 30 minutes of private time each and don't want to drive back for more solo sessions as relates to their Couples Counseling.
4.Telephone counseling is available at the affordable rate of $75.00 per 50-minute session to be paid in advance. We mutually agree on a time and date beforehand, which I will confirm. Please do not call randomly without a confirmation from me.
5. Online Therapy and Counseling (messaging or e-mail): Receive personal therapy via your phone, mobile device or computer by an experienced, caring therapist for $50 week, paid one month in advance each month. Go to the Online page on this website, or go to the Home page, click ME, then SERVICES and then ONLINE for more detailed information.
Though I do not take insurance, I do provide an insurance ready invoice at the end of each month, or quarter if requested.

Are you as happy as you want to be?
Are problems, issues and relationships holding you back?
I am primarily a Solution Focused Therapist, so my goal is to collaboratively seek Solutions to anything that hinders you from leading a happy, fulfilled life - your way, on your terms.
Though difficult situations in the past, can't be changed, we can work together to understand and resolve current issues that past experiences may be impacting - or examine new ways of responding to today's issues.
I use complementary therapy approaches and techniques, to examine long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back. Not just talk...together we look for Solutions that suit you.

More Info About My Practice

Life does not get better by chance - it gets better by change.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with people of all sorts, students, other clinicians, executives, first responders, seniors - the whole range of people, professions and life styles as we are lucky enough to live in a time when a multitude of issues affect us including: Stress, Anxiety, Relationships, Depression, PTSD, Pain, Family & Couples Issues, Parenting Teens and Pre-Teens, Addiction. I've found that most of us have various inter-related issues in today's complex society.

I am a good listener but I do not sit and have you talk and talk for multiple sessions, as I am interactive in helping you achieve your goals. I am a Solutions-Focused therapist, primarily, who will use other modalities to solve problems and concerns.

For addiction issues it is critical to work with a therapist who is very experienced in this critical areas. I am a Psychotherapist, Registered Addiction Specialist, Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor at the highest level (CATC IV). I understand the support a person and their family needs if struggling with addiction.

I do not work with small children or Borderline individuals as those are not my areas of expertise.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Taking the time for yourself to use therapy is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself, your relationship, your career and possibly all those around you.
Improvements you make in understanding yourself and others can open new opportunities and ways to feel happy and satisfied.
My job is to support you non-judgmentally, creating a safe space where we can talk, even laugh, and set the goals you want to achieve.
I also offer affordable online (writing, e-mailing, texting) and telephone therapy for those who need alternative means of getting support. You can find more detailed information about this on my website.
