My Approach to Helping
Therapeutic Approach: My goal is to provide a comfortable, judgement-free environment for you to feel heard. I believe that a trusting client-counselor relationship and honesty is the foundation for success in the therapy. I have an eclectic approach using various techniques and I understand that not all clients will work using the same therapeutic intervention. We will work together towards a better future, ultimately giving you the tools needed to live a successful, happy life. My goal is for you to make progress towards achieving your goals and feeling supported through this process.
Happiness depends on the inward disposition of the mind as opposed to outward circumstances.- Benjamin Franklin
About Me: I bowl for leisure and competitively. I met my husband in a bowling alley and got married November 2018. I enjoy weight lifting, cooking, and reading on my days off. My two favorite spots to vacation are Aruba and Lake George, NY.

Education and Experience:I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. After graduating from FDU I attended graduate school at William Paterson University, where I earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. While achieving my Master’s, I completed two internships at Newark Beth Israel Adolescent Outpatient Unit and Touchstone Hall, Vantage Health Systems (an adolescent male inpatient rehabilitation facility). During this time, I also completed the required 40 hours of training in both Domestic Violence Advocacy and Sexual Assault Advocacy. I have successfully passed the National Counselor’s Exam (NCE) and currently am a Licensed Associate Counselor.
I have experience working with families of children with special needs as well as running individual therapy and parent support groups.
