My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I have morals to help my clients see value in one\'s self and to add value to ones self. Personal development is the belief that you are worth the effort, time, and energy needed to develop yourself. I am here to teach and provide safe adapting aptitudes to people who have encountered any sort of trauma. I strive to help my client\'s improve their lives by overcoming anxiety, building healthy relationships, finding purpose, lowering stress levels, and increasing self esteem. Having a strong why will help you to keep going when the discipline of learning becomes difficult discouraging, or tedious. I extract from a variety of theories in my work, which includes anxiety disorders of all kinds, attachment, psychodynamic, person-centered, interpersonal-relational, and cognitive-behavioral perspectives. I offer an authentic, direct, and empathic style that validates clients’ experience while challenging them to grow. The human approach is different for all. My primary focuses is providing honest communication, helping my patients lead life of self-awareness, improving self esteem, overcoming challenges, and most importantly, live a more fulfilling life. Seeking professional counseling is not a sign of weakness. Rather, it is evidence of honesty about the self and evidence of one’s determination to heal. I understand that reaching out for help can be humbling. I strive to ease the process by creating a positive environment.
