My Approach to Helping

Did something harmful, hurtful, or devastating happen long ago that still haunts and negatively influences you today? If something happened to you and you have the need or desire to talk to someone in a safe, secure, confidential environment, I can help.
Our experiences, both past, and present, deeply affect our moods and view of the world. Childhood experiences, traumatic events, and family issues often stay with us throughout our lives. These can show up as anxiety, depression and even PTSD symptoms such as sleepless nights, constant worrying and a sense of emptiness. The good news is that these feelings are not a life sentence. They are a temporary discomfort. A better life is possible.
My practice focuses on getting beyond the effects of anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am experienced with the most effective interventions to gently renegotiate difficult experiences – I believe there is a voice inside us all which longs to be heard and understood. I help provide a safe place for this to emerge.
