Hello! I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read my profile. I am a licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS), a licensed professional counselor (LPC), and a certified sex addiction therapist candidate in Matthews, North Carolina. I earned a Master’s degree in Christian counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Since 2012, I have provided mental health services to individuals, couples, and groups. I offer treatment for a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship challenges, grief and loss, personality issues, and dual diagnosis.

My clinical experience includes working at Forest Hill Church where I provided counseling services to married and premarital couples. I also worked at a long-term treatment center within Carolina’s Healthcare System. I am comfortable working with people who have different religious beliefs as well as individuals who do not have a religious or spiritual background.

I have a holistic approach to care that emphasizes the role of spirituality in treating the entire person. My counseling style is respectful and I sincerely believe each person is uniquely created by God to serve a special purpose. I use principles and techniques from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational-emotive behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and emotionally-focused therapy.

It would be a privilege to speak with you and find out how we can work together to resolve your issues. If we are not a suitable match for therapy, I am happy to refer you to another therapist who may be a better fit for your unique needs.
