My Approach to Helping
Looking for a therapist that is the "right fit" can be challenging. I believe that one of the most important aspects to therapy is the therapeutic relationship between you and myself. Therapy is about building trust, so that you feel safe enough to disclose what's troubling you without worrying about feeling judged.
I believe in taking a holistic approach with every client. I work collaboratively with clients in addressing their individual needs, whether it's more directive, educational therapy, or helping clients to gain insight into their presenting concerns. I employ various methods of psychotherapy as well as Neurofeedback as a way to address any underlying physiological variables that could be contributing to symptoms. I have worked with a wide range of clients presenting with ADHD and ASD, and using QEEG-guided neurofeedback, have seen a reduction in symptoms.
One of my main focuses is Peak Performance Psychology, or "Elite Performance Skills," working with performing artists, athletes, and executives. I focus on building mental fitness skills in order to address performance anxiety, creative blocks, and other issues to improve and strengthen performance quality.
