My Approach to Helping
Hi, my name is Savanna and I currently work full time as a mental health counselor in a school and do private practice on the side. My specialty is with children and young adults. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, substance use, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADD/ADHD, behavioral issues, attachment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and more. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults who are struggling with identity, sexuality and coming of age issues. I also love working with young women who have experienced sexual assault, harassment or physical abuse.

COVID- 19 Update:
In person sessions offered for children or adults who are doing virtual learning or working from home. I wear a mask in almost all sessions and clean thoroughly between sessions and overnight.
I specialize in EMDR which is a trauma therapy that is ideal for chronic pain, depression, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, addictions, and phobias. I also offer cognitive behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, parent management training (oregon model), and talk therapy and motivational interviewing.
