My Approach to Helping
I am interested in helping people at this time with their thoughts and feelings around the Coronavirus that has unfortunately interrupted our normal lives. I find expressing what is going on is tremendously helpful in dealing with daily living. Talking about our sad and upset thoughts and feelings makes room for more joyful, positive, creative ones. I have worked as a therapist for over 35 years and love working with individuals of all ages. I can see you online or talk by telephone. I became a passionate believer in talk therapy because of my 35 years of experience helping people talk. The expression of all of our thoughts and feelings is the first step towards clarifying and defining our concerns. My purpose is to help you with this process in a compassionate, understanding way. Together we will explore what is on your mind and determine how to proceed. We all have positive and negative thoughts and feelings. Having a safe place in which to express them and have them acknowledged can provide amazing relief and awareness. Often times we act on our feelings instead of understanding them. I like to work with intention - what is the intended outcome you wish to achieve? Then we can move forward with awareness and intelligence. Everyone can thrive in a nourishing environment.
