My Approach to Helping

My treatment approach is validating and understanding while at the same time sincere and direct. I use an integrative approach to help my clients to find balance in their personal, academic and professional lives. I work collaboratively with clients to help them to explore their next steps towards reaching their goals and finding peace in their day-to-day lives. I am experienced at working with individuals with struggles related to binge eating, low self-image, anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions.

My Therapy Focus

I believe strongly in a Strengths-Based approach to empower the client. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, Mindfulness and Attachment-Based methods into sessions.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

I am aware of the prejudices in today's society, and understand that it can be difficult for people to seek treatment due to fear of judgement. It is important for me to mention that I work from a standpoint that is non-judgemental, and respectful of my client's identities.
