My Approach to Helping

My approach combines classic "talk-therapies" with powerful tools that target the brain such as Neurofeedback, Lifespan Integration, EMDR and other neurologically based practices. Our brains have the incredible ability to heal, calm and correct themselves if given the right opportunity. Our clients experience tremendous relief from the painful chaos that can happen in our brains. Brains formed under trauma and duress can often function in a "survival" mode. Pathways formed in childhood inform our brains in adulthood. If your brain is struggling to focus, be happy, be calm, or stop harmful repetitive behaviors, you need to come see us!

More Info About My Practice

Helping you understand yourself psychologically and watching the freedom and joy that knowledge brings is the greatest gift I have ever been given. Everyone feels emotional pain, shame, guilt, sadness and anxiety. Working with couples and individuals to unpack relational and circumstantial situations that cause pain is the basis of my work. I will help you engineer healthy emotional and psychological understandings of yourself in order to eradicate stressors, grief and pain.

Our human experiences shape our thought, belief and identity systems and many of those systems were formed under duress which may have resulted in impaired functioning. Healthy reengineering of these systems and identities about yourselves, the world and relationships is the work that is accomplished to enjoy your life more abundantly! I use a Biblical Christian approach to therapy and find tremendous joy in helping you form your spiritual journey. My services include marriage, couples and individual counseling.
