The decision to reach out for help is a strong one, and I admire your courage for taking the first steps. My approach to our collaborative relationship is to offer a safe and nonjudgmental presence through which we can explore those things that are causing you anxiety, anger, confusion, or pain. We will use your unique strengths and skills to chart an emotional path through this potentially difficult terrain, helping you to identify what you really need and want and how those things might be addressed in your life.

We will work together, at your pace, to help you to Become Who You Are: identifying and expressing your feelings, quieting your inner critic, making decisions that align with your authentic self, and balancing these things within the wider world of your relationships.

I also work with couples to strengthen your foundation of friendship, improve communication, identify patterns that block intimacy, and respectfully manage conflict.

It is an honor to journey with you, and I look forward to our work together.

More Info About My Practice

As a trained drama therapist, I've seen the power of creativity to accelerate the therapeutic process. I often use embodied and experiential processes in my work, with your permission and at your pace. I also have extensive experience with traditional talk therapy if the creative processes don't resonate with you.

I have a deep capacity for empathy and often find myself working with people who are gifted with a high sensitivity to the world around them. I'm compassionate and gentle, and can be appropriately challenging when needed.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love making space for you to tell your story. It is a powerful one, whether you realize it yet or not. It is a unique story, with challenges and triumphs. I feel honored to be a witness to it and a collaborator during this time of writing the next chapter.
