My Approach to Helping
Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Path Mental Health. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Community, Organization, and Business Innovation from the University of Southern California (USC). She has experience working in employee assistance programs (EAP) and medical-based mental health settings. She is passionate about the work she does and has worked with a wide range of demographics, including adolescents, couples, individuals, families, clients with terminal illnesses, and clients with acute medical diagnoses.
She has worked with various challenges surrounding her clients, such as anxiety, depression, work-life balance, career and life consultation, stress management, adjustment, etc. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach and mindfulness in her work with her clients, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy and several other interventions. Sara approaches therapy with compassion, understanding, empathy, and strength-based practices.
