My Approach to Helping
In the therapy room, I aim to create a safe and confidential space for self-exploration, emotional healing, personal transformation, and self-understanding and discovery. My therapeutic style is collaborative, empathetic, non-judgemental and extremely supportive. I use an eclectic approach, blending evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivation Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy. I am a results-driven, solution-focused therapist that stays abreast the most current research. My primary goal is to help you find happiness and peace and to help you thrive and solve the problems that brought you to therapy as quickly as possible! :)

Education & Credentials: I am a licensed therapist in the states of NY, NJ and CT. I received my graduate degree at Columbia University and have post-graduate training in modalities such as CBT and DBT.
The best way to schedule an appointment with me is to text my cell phone at 201-694-1945. Please be mindful that confidentiality cannot be 100% assured while using text and e-mail as means of communication, however I take every measure to keep my phone and computer secure as both devices are locked and my fingerprint andor a password is required to unlock my devices.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I struggled with crippling anxiety in my late teens and early 20s. I had severe social and performance anxiety and was a complete perfectionist. Additionally, I was preoccupied with losing weight and being thin. When I was about to graduate college, I started having 3-6 panic attacks daily. During these attacks, I felt physical symptoms that led me to believe that I might faint or have a heart attack and die. I saw several professionals but none could help and I felt hopeless. Eventually, I connected with a therapist who taught me how to manage my anxiety and change my relationship with my thoughts. Cured and inspired, I returned to school to become a therapist and help others. My personal experience makes me extremely passionate about helping those with panic and anxiety disorders. I understand first-hand how hard it can be to live with anxiety and am extremely hopeful that I can help those who are suffering from this condition.
