We often find ourselves stuck in a rut, repeating the same patterns over again and feeling frustrated because we don't have the knowledge or tools to help ourselves feel better. I am passionate about being a therapist because I love hearing people's stories and being part of their journey towards positive change. Every day, people like you inspire and amaze me as I see the power of human strength, resilience and determination. I will collaborate with you to develop a plan that will help you find new meaning, feel more connected with your emotions, and confident in your relationships.

My practice offers individual, couple and family therapy for both children and adults. I use a family systems approach and believe all of our interactions are best understood by considering the influence of our relationships. We will work together to find effective tools and strategies for understanding yourself and reaching your goals.

I have completed Level 1 training in the Gottman method and use a combination of Gottman and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy in my work with couples. I am also a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator for premarital and married couples. I want to help you and your partner reconnect, heal, and learn healthy relationship skills such as positive communication, conflict resolution, and enhancing your friendship.

Child/family counseling sessions are often experiential--we will do role plays, learn through games, and express through art and reading. I have experience working with a wide range of childhood concerns and I am nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT), an evidence based therapy for treating PTSD in children.

Parents are always involved in the counseling process for children. Parenting sessions are also available to support you with strengthening your family.
