My Approach to Helping

A good life has both joy and pain. Good times and difficult seasons. Difficult seasons include career dissatisfaction, family problems, relationship problems, etc. It is really uncomfortable, but with self-love and healing, these periods can lead to immense growth.

If you are having a difficult season right now, you might feel stuck and confused. You might feel like you don’t know what the next step is. Therapy can be a safe haven to rest, feel better, and gain clarity about what to do and how to move forward. Therapy is a place for you to be seen and heard by both you and me.

I love being a therapist. It is truly an honor when a human being trusts me to be with them as they work through difficult periods of their life. I do my very best to provide you with exactly the kind of environment and “therapy home” you need in order to rest and heal until you regain clarity and balance.

Whatever your reason for seeking therapy might be, we explore your inner thoughts and emotions and how they affect your daily living. We shed light on your subconscious so that you can make mindful choices. We connect the dots together and hopefully build something beautiful that you can take with you on your life journey.

I am excited to meet you!

More Info About My Practice

I received my BA at the University of Puget Sound in Washington and my MS in Counseling Psychology at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. I have several years of experience working with children and adolescents who have experienced complex trauma, family conflict, school issues (ADHD, anger management, bullying, peer conflict), and life changes. While working with these children and their families, I was blessed with the opportunity to witness how human beings heal from trauma, and how I as a therapist can best guide that process. My specialties include women in transitional life phases, first responders, individuals struggling with trauma and PTSD, empaths, highly sensitive people, children and families, men experiencing intimacy & relational issues, and new & expectant parents. Individuals of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and sexual & gender identities are welcomed.
