My Approach to Helping
I want to help ease your anxiety and walk with you through your depression. I'll help shine some light on your concerns, so that you will not have to feel alone in your thoughts and feelings. We're going to figure this out together.
My role as your therapist is to help you gain the knowledge of your symptoms, the skills to ground and calm your body and mind, and the supportive resources within yourself and your environment to reach contentment as you define it. Together, we will address where your concerns began and led you to where you are now. Shedding light on how your anxieties and depression were created can be a powerful and healing experience. My ultimate goal is for you to have discrete tools and techniques that you can use wherever you may be.
I have had the opportunity to work in multiple settings including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient centers, autism clinics, a school, private practice, & a non-profit agency; this has led me to tailor my counseling techniques for each unique individual in their environment. I would be honored to guide you through this journey, whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, trauma, life transitions, or relational difficulties.
