My Approach to Helping

If you seek a therapist who will listen to your story with no judgment, only respect, let's talk. My approach to therapy is holistic and each client is treated as the individual they are and plans of treatment are developed in partnership based on the client's goals. This is a client's journey and I serve as a guide. I believe that anyone who is reaching out, wanting to start the journey of self-exploration and committed to doing the emotional work to bring a sense of peace, well-being and change, deserves that opportunity.

I'm experienced with individualsfamilies managing life transitions including empty-nesting, death and grief including complicated grief, caregiver challenges, tasks of aging and living with catastrophic illness or death including homicide, suicide or any unexpected traumatic death. My other passion is working with those with Binge-eating Disorder.

I am skilled in individual, family and group therapy. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional; I am eclectic in my approach to therapy, however, apply Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, Family-Focused therapy as appropriate.
