My Approach to Helping

I work with families, couples, individuals and children who are seeking to improve unwanted behaviors or unhealthy relationships. I provide education, techniques and support to these individuals as they work toward accomplishing their personal goals. Providing a safe, confidential place for you to discuss your specific concerns with me while forming a trusting, professional relationship is my goal for our time together.

I enjoy working with couples wanting to strengthen their relationship, affair recovery, second marriage, parenting struggles, communication difficulties, pre-marital and more. I also enjoy working with adolescents as they can feel free to discuss any issues they are experiencing and need a safe place to talk.

I understand the struggles of marriage. Hurts occur over time and a lack of communication can cause a slow deterioration, if not corrected. I know the stresses of raising a family that can take a toll on a relationship. I'll help strengthen and repair whatever issues you are experiencing.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I understand some of the fears about going to therapy. I went to therapy before becoming a therapist. What I believe is most important in therapy is having a connection with your therapist. I encourage my clients to come see me at least 3 times to decide if we are good fit or not. If you feel, at any time, that we are not a good fit, I will absolutely understand. You are not stuck. It is vital that you feel comfortable with the person you are sharing your private thoughts and feelings with from beginning to end.
