My Approach to Helping
Therapy should be viewed as a safe space to explore, discover your truth, and develop a better understanding of your basic needs. Our greatest gift to ourselves is unlearning the negative patterns which we've been taught and reestablishing healthier patterns. We can't change our past experiences nor should we forget them; however, we can learn to make peace through acceptance. As a culturally humble therapist, my goal is to support you on your journey of discovery. My therapeutic approach is integrative and provides empathy and warmth. I help individuals, adolescents and couples to address challenges and develop skills. Although you may be feeling alone, discouraged or unmotivated, I can support you in strengthening attachment injuries and negative distortions.
