My approach to counseling is that we all have our own best answers. Sometimes we need an outside perspective to better hear what we are saying to ourselves, and remind ourselves that we have the power to create change in our lives. With creativity and insight, we can work together to form lasting change.

More Info About My Practice

I specialize in working with young people (10-25 years old), and I am open to working with anyone seeking help. New ways of thinking and new behaviors can be huge challenges to take on, and they can lead us to a more comfortable life, and more fulfilling relationships.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have extensive experience working with issues related to anxiety, depression, and anger. I also have significant experience working within Native American and multicultural communities, and issues related to gender and sexual identity.

My Therapy Focus

My focus in therapy is to help my clients increase their sense of personal power and ability to direct their own lives. I believe it is easy to forget that in any situation, we have a choice in how we respond. Together we can find new strategies to face the challenges of life, and move toward a more positive context.
