My Approach to Helping
I am committed to supporting children, teens, parents, and adults in finding and creating a life they find meaningful and can thrive in. In my work, I aim to help individuals uncover and understand potential barriers in their lives that might be causing difficulties, through building a strong and supportive relationship while offering compassion and psychoeducation, to help them move through these obstacles. My style is warm, direct, and building a safe and strong relationship is essential to our work together. I strive to appreciate and understand you or your child’s unique story and struggles, offer insights on issues that might be beyond your awareness, and share adaptive tools in managing life’s challenges.
I have an innate ability in forming meaningful relationships with children, and also have experience working with adults of all ages. I apply my deep understanding of development to understand your current challenges and will support you through your challenges in an adaptive way.
I welcome children, adolescents, and adults of all cultural backgrounds in my practice who are dealing with: anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life or career transitions, emotional & behavioral challenges, school academic issues, trauma, grief loss, per sibling challenges, bullying, navigating family conflict, work stress, and parenting support.
