Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Going to Therapy does not mean we are broken, weak, deeply flawed or unproductive. Therapy is an act of selfcare, its is an act of self preservation. It allows us to be the best that we can for ourselves and for those around us. It allows us to tap into our inner strengths and opens up new possibilities to be the best version of ourselves. By learning new tools and new ways of thinking and dealing with life stressors, we are able to modeling effective coping mechanisms to our kids, employees, friends or others, who will notice how we manage stress and follow suit.
Therapy offers a safe place to sort out life stressors and challenges without feeling judged. As your therapist, I will meet you where ever you are at, and together we can work on goals that will make your life rich and fulfilling.
