My Approach to Helping
As a neuropsychologist, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders, including attention-deficithyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), and learning differences and disabilities. My philosophy is that everyone, no matter what challenges they face, can make progress toward reaching their potential. My goal is to empower you to make decisions in your life with clarity and intention.
I offer diagnostic and comprehensive evaluations to develop a thorough understanding of who you are as a person-your strengths, abilities, talents, skills, challenges, and obstacles-and develop a plan for next steps in education, treatment, and life (ages 2.5 and up). I also offer career assessments and counseling (ages 16 and up) to help you take the next steps in your career: whether you are a high school student deciding on a future career or major, a working adult looking to change careers or go back to school, a military service member transitioning to civilian life, or a seasoned professional looking to revitalize or reshape your current role. Finally, I offer counseling and therapy services for teens and adults, emphasizing academic and executive coaching strategies to help with time management, organization, planning, developing healthy habits and routines, and studying effectively. My approach is active, collaborative, and goal-oriented and is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and techniques. Services can be provided in-person or virtually (in specific states-see website for details). I look forward to the possibility of working with you or your child.
