More Info About My Practice
Dreamweavers is a Native American and female owned and operated business. As such we are guided by Native American lore of the dreamcatcher as a living symbol of warding off "bad spirits" (dreams) and only allowing the good dreams to permeate one's environment. We view ourselves as co-partners with you to weave (design) a meaningful tapestry out of your life experiences. While one may have no control over whatever life experiences may arise, we believe all experiences can be harvested for one's growth development. We consider it a sacred trust that you are allowing us to share and facilitate your expansion on your life journey.
How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
I am a seasoned professional with many life experiences that I bring to the table. Some major experiences that have shaped me personally and professionally include being a caregiver for some 20 years and dealing with catastrophic loss due to health issues. I become very acquainted with loss in profound and multiple ways which only heightened my level of compassion and dedication to hone my professional skills. I am a consummate and compassionate professional who stays current on developing trends and evidence based practices (what has been shown to be effective therapeutic practices). I take my role as a therapist seriously and consider it a profound honor to assist you in you growth and development.
