My Approach to Helping
Rose C. Lobato is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #126181 who graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Masters’ Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016. Rose has a wide-range knowledge of Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Rose’s past work experience includes working with the underserved population, adolescences, and foster youth. Rose has over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health. Rose has a passion for working with adults ranging from the ages 18-80 years of age. Rose has experience with treating Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and the LGBTQ community.
Rose’s experience in the mental health profession has provided her with a set of skills to understand people without judging them and to effectively connect people with insights and coping skills.
Rose chose to become a Marriage & Family Therapist because this is a career that allows her strengths to be utilized in a way that no other career would be able to. Rose’s favorite part about being a Marriage and Family Therapist is being able to create intimate connections with her clients and helping them to create a satisfying and rewarding life journey.
