My Approach to Helping
I welcome all intersections of identity in my feminist-based practice and would be honored to support you on your identity journey. I use a variety of approaches including: mindfulness, self-compassion, existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), existential therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support folks in healing with anxiety, trauma, and substance use concerns. My special clinical interests are working with self-motivated high schoolers struggling with anxiety andor identity issues, and their families. I require intermittent family sessions when my identified client is under 18. I also love helping professionals who work in the technology, web development, and programming industries from all backgrounds with burnout, isolation, anxiety, substance use, and other issues.
