My Approach to Helping
During our sessions, I aim to be genuine, supportive, and non-judgmental to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Therapy involves being vulnerable and disclosing thoughts and feelings we may not have ever said out loud or had the ability to freely experience, therapy requires honesty and authenticity and I work towards making sure the environment is safe for anyone to be able to do these things. I use CBT to challenge persistent and negative core beliefs and use ACT to accept the things we cannot change. I believe in sharing knowledge and guidance with my clients to empower them to look at their behavior patterns, their thought patterns, and make the decision that will help them.
