What's My Approach to Therapy?
I work with adults who want depth-oriented therapy: people who are less interested in quick fixes, and more curious about understanding why certain patterns repeat, and how real, sustainable change happens. Many of my clients struggle with weight or body-related concerns that are closely tied to emotional regulation, early family experiences, or current relationship struggles. Others come in because they feel stuck in the same roles (with partners, parents, or themselves), despite years of insight and effort. Together, we look beneath surface behaviors keeping you stuck to understand the emotional and relational roots driving them.
I specialize in helping adults work through weight and body concerns, family-of-origin dynamics, and recurring relational patterns. My depth-oriented, relational approach focuses on understanding how past and present relationships shape emotional regulation and behavior, allowing change to unfold in a more sustainable, integrated way.
Beginning therapy takes courage, especially when you value insight, depth, and personal responsibility. I work with clients who care about understanding themselves honestly and creating meaningful change. If you’re seeking thoughtful, values-aligned work that respects your pace and complexity, this may be a supportive place to begin.
