My Approach to Helping

Rori has extensive experience providing therapy with adults, families, and children. Rori specialized in working with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and those who have experienced trauma. Some of the evidence-based strategies that Rori uses includes interpersonal psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation techniques, and narrative therapy. Rori engages each person around their hopes, and helps develop achievable goals utilizing a strengths based perspective. It is important for Rori that each patient experiences a place where they are valued and respected for their unique strengths, determination, and life experiences.

As a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Rori’ s focuses have spanned specializations with criminal justice involved patients to implement innovative treatments for patients with significant mental health challenges; all of which have edified her evolving view on the necessity of strong social work support networks. Rori graduated from Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service with her Masters in Social Work in May 2009, and graduated from the University of Southern California’s Doctor of Social Work program in December 2018.
