My Approach to Helping
I mainly practice from a Cognitive-Behavioral model, which is a here and now, proactive, skills-based therapy. Years of research suggest this is the most effective approach for conditions such as depression, anxietypanic, OCD, and PTSD. That said, not all clients find this approach as a correct fit for their particular issues. Because of this, I have both training and experience with all of the major models of therapy, so together we will develop a plan that will be tailored to your needs.
