My Approach to Helping
I believe in providing services that are tailored to your individual needs and presenting concerns. I work collaboratively with individuals to identify their specified goals and develop effective coping strategies to manage life’s challenges. As a person of color and an LGBTQIA+ allied therapist, I also understand the importance of having a safe space to process one’s feelings, identity, and issues. I will provide support and compassion throughout the therapeutic experience, using a nonjudgmental and eclectic approach, pulling from various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, relational therapy, attachment-based approaches, and humanistic therapies to name a few.
I hold a Master’s of Social Work Degree with a specialization in clinical social work. With over six years of experience, I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and trauma-related disorders. Additionally, I have a focus on providing support to communities of color and issues affecting LGBTQIA+ individuals. I am looking forward to supporting you through your healing process!
