My Approach to Helping

I use empathy, compassion and insight to support and guide individuals navigating difficult challenges. I have certifications in both trauma and addiction counseling. My specializations include working with adults who present with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and or addiction.

People have often described me as genuine, calming, and non-judgmental. I utilize a variety of approaches based on your needs and what you find most helpful. Please feel free to reach out to me. It is important that you feel a connection with your therapist so a free phone consultation with me can help you decide if I am a good fit for you.

Helpful approaches videos: Mindfulness to strengthen the mindbody connection (youtube.comwatch?v=IeblJdB2-Vo), CBT to identify unhelpful thought patternscore beliefs (youtube.comwatch?v=9c_Bv_FBE-c), NVC to improve communication and strengthen relationships (youtube.comwatch?v=8sjA90hvnQ0&t=2s), Power of Vulnerability (youtube.comwatch?v=iCvmsMzlF7o)
