My Approach to Helping
If you are here, you are probably contemplating change. My favorite quote is “tradition is the enemy of progress.” There will not be sustained change without addressing potential problems in the way we have traditionally approached our circumstances. If you are open to stepping outside of traditional patterns, you may be ready for a journey of change.
I have over a decade of experience working with people who have experienced trauma, addiction, stress and anxiety, discrimination, and mood disorders. I have a lifetime of experience in overcoming obstacles.
My partners in therapy appreciate my seemingly casual approach to therapy that integrates evidence-based clinical practices, awareness through education, and the safety of not being judged while processing thoughts and emotions.
You are the expert of you. I just happen to have tools you may find useful during your journey of change. I would be honored to assist you on your journey.
