Are you you stuck in your life's journey? Do you feel that your life is worthless or meaningless? Do you struggle with any of these problems: anxiety, depression, fear, mood swings, regrets, marital problems, difficulty standing up for yourself, loneliness, irritability, shyness, impulsivity, anger, premarital problems, girlfriend-boyfriend problems and vise versa, aggression, problem solving, social skills, meeting people, insomnia, self-criticism, decision making, procrastination, conflict resolution, hopelessness, friendships, agitation, panic, grief, obsessive thoughts, and substance abuse? Do you have trust issues? Are you still reliving a traumatic experience? Were you sexually violated or abused and want to come to terms with the experience? To help people and to make a difference are the two main reasons I decided to become a therapist. I know and understand the many life's challenges that people can go through on a regular basis, and those things can be overwhelming. With all the difficulties and complexities that life brings, it is no wonder that people can feel alone, hopeless and helpless, and there is no where to turn for help. But take a breath knowing that help is on the way and relief is possible. At Empowered Life, I attend to you, listen to you, and walk along your side in your journey to a better living experience. Call me today for an appointment to start exploring the possibility of living a meaningful, purposeful, and empowering life.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an art in which the therapist interacts with those who come for counseling, in therapeutic ways, to facilitate change and therapeutic transformation in the life of the client. The interaction is based on a therapeutic alliance between the therapist and those who come seeking help. The cornerstone of the therapeutic alliance is trust. Individuals often come with burdensome situations from which they seek guidance, clarity, and support to make the desired changes.
