My Approach to Helping
I understand that when you’re hurting and in a dark place, having someone to walk you through your pain with compassion and empathy means everything. I am familiar with the discomfort of grief and loss, and I am passionate in helping to find the road to healing, recovery and resiliency for families and individuals.
I play the organ, piano and keyboard. I love old movies and fantasy movies as well. I have three strong adult sons, their beautiful wives, and 5 incredible grandchildren.
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Trinity University, my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health through the Concordia University, and completed my internship with Arden Shore Child & Family Services. I have 20+ years of experience in working with my husband as a marriage counselor, along with my current training and experience in working with mental health disorders, grief counseling, and Christian counseling approaches.
