My Approach to Helping
Do you feel stuck? Are you having trouble managing day-to-day worries and fears? Do you struggle with people pleasing? Saying yes when you want to say no? Often times this creates anxiety, resentment, and dissatisfaction in our lives and relationships and can leave us feeling stuck and unfulfilled. Together we will work collaboratively, to create insight to shift old patterns and behaviors that are keeping you from living the life you want. We will develop reliable tools to manage and improve painful emotions and stressful situations, so you can live authentically with a greater sense of connection to yourself, life, and others.
I work with children, adults, and families to overcome and heal from life's challenges and learn how to thrive. I consider myself multi-theoretical, grounded in evidence-based practice, as I strive to understand which modality is in your best interest. I tend to take a holistic approach, addressing the interconnectedness of one’s body and mind.
I believe that every client has the intrinsic ability to heal and grow and that it is the role of the therapist to shine the light and help facilitate your process of change. I see change as not only possible but inevitable. I strive to create a warm and safe healing environment that is unique and personalized to meet your individual needs.
